Guide to Custom Padel Courts
What you can change on a custom padel court
Size, frame colour, turf, logo, lighting, roof and packing are all made to order — but each one carries a different cost and a different lead time. This page sets out exactly what can be changed, what tooling costs and when it is refunded, the minimum order for each kind of customization, and how a custom order runs from brief to delivery.

What can be customized
Eight dimensions are specified per order. Seven of them change the court without changing the tooling; only a non-standard size does.
| Dimension | What you can choose |
|---|---|
| 01Size |
Standard 20 × 10 m; an 18 × 9 m small court; a twin-court linked layout. A non-standard size needs a new mould, so it carries a tooling fee — see tooling fees and samples below. |
| 02Steel frame colour |
Black, white, grey, blue and others, powder-coated to a custom RAL code. |
| 03Turf colour |
Green, blue, orange, red or purple. |
| 04Turf type |
High-density artificial grass, or PVC sports flooring — the PVC surface suits hot, humid coastal sites. |
| 05Logo |
Printed into the turf, on a metal nameplate, or on the padded surround and the net. |
| 06Lighting |
200 W or 400 W luminaires on 6 m poles. |
| 07Roof |
PVC or PVDF membrane. |
| 08Packaging |
Standard export wooden case, neutral packing, or packing carrying your own shipping marks. |
Every dimension is confirmed per project, on the quotation. If you are still choosing between court models, start with the custom padel court overview and the full model range, then come back here for the customization detail.
Tooling & sampling
Tooling fees, samples and lead time
A standard size costs nothing to set up. A new size does — and that fee comes back once you have ordered enough courts at it.
Standard sizes — no tooling fee
Standard courts are built from existing tooling, so there is no mould cost to pass on.
Non-standard sizes — tooling fee
A new size needs a new mould and the buyer pays for it. The fee is refunded once cumulative orders reach 10 courts.
Turf and colour samples — free
Swatches are supplied free of charge. You cover the freight, which is collected on delivery, and they are dispatched in 5–7 days.
Full-court sample — not offered
A complete court is not supplied as a sample because the cost is prohibitive. Visit the showroom or the factory and see one built instead.
| Sample | Lead time |
|---|---|
| Colour, turf or logo | 5–7 daysfree swatches, freight collected |
| Non-standard structure | 20–30 daysfirst article at the new size |
The tooling fee is refunded to the buyer once cumulative orders reach 10 courts. Ask for the refund schedule with the quotation so it is on the record from the start.
Minimum order
MOQ for custom work
Most customization starts at a single court. Only a new non-standard size raises the minimum.
| Customization | Minimum order |
|---|---|
| Colour, logo or shipping marks | 1 courtno minimum beyond a single court |
| Non-standard size | 2 courts18 × 9 m and similar |
Colour, logo and shipping-mark changes start at one court; only a new size pushes the minimum to two. If you are ordering more than one court, the service terms cover payment, warranty and the installation split.
Process
From brief to delivery
Six steps, and there are two checkpoints on the way — the 3D render and the inspection video — so nothing is produced in a direction you have not already seen.
Send the brief
Size, colours, logo files and the project location. The more complete the brief, the more accurate the first quote.
Configuration and quote
We return the configuration that fits and the price within 24 hours of receiving the brief.
Confirm and deposit
Once the quotation is confirmed, a 30% deposit puts the order into production.
Approve the 3D render
Before bulk production starts we send a 3D render of the finished court for you to sign off.
Inspection before dispatch
Before the goods leave we send video or photographs of the finished order for your inspection.
Ship and install
The order ships, and installation guidance runs through the whole build on site.
A logo file is needed at brief stage, not at production stage — send vector artwork with the first message and the render comes back correct the first time.
FAQ
Custom padel court questions
What can I actually change on a custom padel court?
Eight dimensions: size, steel frame colour, turf colour, turf type, logo, lighting, roof and packaging. Frame colour can be matched to a RAL code, turf comes in green, blue, orange, red or purple, and the logo can be printed into the turf, carried on a metal nameplate, or put on the padded surround and the net.
Is there a tooling fee for a custom size?
Not for a standard size. An 18 × 9 m court or a twin-court linked layout still uses existing tooling, so no mould cost applies. A genuinely non-standard size needs a new mould, the fee is paid by the buyer, and it is refunded once cumulative orders reach 10 courts.
Can I get a sample before I order?
Yes, for materials. Turf and colour swatches are free, you cover the freight on a collected basis, and they are dispatched in 5–7 days. A complete court is not supplied as a sample because the cost is prohibitive — we would rather you visit the showroom or the factory and see one built.
A non-standard structural first article takes 20–30 days.
What is the minimum order for customization?
One court for colour, logo or shipping-mark changes. A non-standard size raises the minimum to two courts.
How long does a custom order take from enquiry to delivery?
The quotation comes back within 24 hours of a complete brief. Material samples take 5–7 days and a non-standard structural first article 20–30 days. Before bulk production you approve a 3D render, and before dispatch you receive video or photographs of the finished order. A 30% deposit starts production once the quotation is confirmed.
